Made from vines aged 35 to 70 years, Château Tayac Prestige is a refined Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, a touch of Cabernet Franc, and ~20% Merlot. In the glass, it shows a dark ruby red hue with purplish highlights.
The nose reveals layers of ripe fruit and elegance: cherries, wild cherries, morello cherries, vine peaches, figs, and delicate spice.
On the palate, the wine is structured yet supple, with fruit and oak in harmony. Tannins are well integrated, coating the palate smoothly. The finish is long and persistent, with lingering fruit and subtle vanilla notes.
